In Autofit mode, the VMware application window always conforms to the size of the virtual machine display, even when the virtual machine changes its display size. It also disables resizing of the application window by the user. With Autofit off, the application window can be resized by the user, but the application will no longer resize itself to fit the virtual machine display. Scroll bars are be enabled as necessary, whenever the virtual machine display does not fit in the application window.
