Yes, this is a limitation of this kind of cloning.

Indeed: this is already mounted on the mount point /loop. But,
the mounting is made when Mu is still in RAM. After that, the new
root-fs become the loop filesystem and the /loop directory is
not accessible anymore.
Sorry, I do not know how to resolve this problem.
If you can, it is better to clone EXT2fs.
