Modem: if the modem _works_ under linux (i.e.,
it's_not_a_winmodem), then you only need to configure the serial port.
In general, this isn't usually needed, as your serial port is in one of
the standard IRQ/Port configurations (mine isn't, btw)
NIC: You need to get a module for it, if it isn't in mulinux.
[NOTE: This could be an interesting thing: we can compile modules for
mulinux and put them on the ftp site. I believe toms' has something like
that. Is it feasible?]
