EXT Addon

After I had cloned my muLinux to my harddisk I also installed the EXT addon. But after doing so, I can no longer login. Everytime I'm trying to do so, nothing really happens. It takes some time and than there is the login-prompt again.
Is this normal and what can I do against this problem?
