Hello everybody,
If you use smbd there is an idee to keep you /tmp clean.
Change /etc/samba/shares , where it says : printer command =
you can add: ; rm %s ; rm lpr-stdin*
This way you can keep the system running in ram without haven problem that is will comsume your ram.
How ever , you have to consider that you will never be able to send large files to the printer unless you send it derectly to the port.
