I done that many times, using only "nc": see in the file /usr/doc/help/Tips.
You have to run muLinux in both side.

If you install from Linux, you have to muLinux Builder: the "mu" script,
in the directory. EXT is a 1722 floppy: format with
fdformat /dev/fd01722
I use "mu -ext" to build EXT.
